NAPIA
GOALS
- NAPIA's primary goal is
educational - to help its members
stay well informed about factors and
trends that affect petroleum
investments so that investors in
petroleum and related industries can
make sound investment decisions
based on the most current
information and first hand
knowledge. NAPIA accomplishes
this primary goal by
organizing and sponsoring
semi-annual conferences and related
field trips, and/or educational
seminars, on topics, and in places
of the world, of current industry
interest. In addition, NAPIA
provides its members with access to
numerous events of topical interest,
numerous professional papers, and
several industry publications, all
relevant to petroleum investment.
Other goals of NAPIA include: 1)
Interaction - NAPIA encourages an
active interchange of ideas and
information between analysts,
petroleum industry corporate
executives, investor relations
representatives, consultants and
other industry experts at
Association conferences and
educational seminars; 2)
Directory - NAPIA provides each of its members
with an annual Directory of its
membership; 3)
Employment - NAPIA maintains a
listing of petroleum analysts
seeking employment and opportunities
available in petroleum investment.;
and, 4) Professional Recognition -
NAPIA Members are recognized and
respected as professionals in their
field, and
NAPIA recognize distinguished Petroleum Investor Relations
Association members for awards in
excellence in investor relations.
NAPIA
members represent most of the
leading financial institutions of
the world, representing a large
portion of the invested capital in
the major financial markets of the
world. Our members play an
important role in allocating capital
to the worldwide petroleum industry.
NAPIA
MEMBERSHIP POLICY
- NAPIA
seeks as Regular Members all those
whose primary activity is
responsibility for investment
analysis in the petroleum, petroleum
services, and related industries
within their organizations. Associate Members should have a
professional interest and
affiliation with the petroleum
industry. Retired Members are
formerly active members who have
retired.
The
Membership Committee, with the
concurrence of the NAPIA Board of
Directors, implements the
membership policies of the
Association in reviewing each
membership application.
