NAPIA GOALS - NAPIA's primary goal is educational - to help its members stay well informed about factors and trends that affect petroleum investments so that investors in petroleum and related industries can make sound investment decisions based on the most current information and first hand knowledge. NAPIA accomplishes this primary goal mainly by organizing, sponsoring, and joining with strategic partners for events, presentations, webcasts, field trips, and/or educational seminars, on topics, and in places of the world, of current industry interest. NAPIA provides its members with free subscriptions to, Oil & Gas Financial Journal, Oil and Gas Investor, Midstream Business, and on request, American Oil & Gas Reporter, Offshore, and other leading industry publications. NAPIA Members are invited to attend numerous energy related forums, conferences, and presentations sponsored by allied organizations, either at no cost or at the member rate of our affiliated alliances. NAPIA offers its Members web seminars, important energy papers, and trial and discounted subscriptions to various energy publications, all included with NAPIA Membership. Membership value greatly exceeds its modest cost.

Other goals of NAPIA include: 1) Interaction - NAPIA encourages an active interchange of ideas and information between analysts, petroleum industry corporate executives, investor relations representatives, consultants and other industry experts at Association events and educational seminars; 2) Directory - NAPIA provides each of its members with an annual Directory of the NAPIA Membership. 3) Employment - NAPIA maintains a listing of petroleum analysts seeking employment and opportunities available in petroleum investment; and, 4) Professional Recognition - NAPIA members are recognized and respected as professionals in their field, and NAPIA organizes recognition for distinguished petroleum investor relations executives for awards in excellence in investor relations and corporate reporting.
